At Northern Territory Consumables, we strive to provide a seamless shopping experience from start to finish. Below you will find our policies regarding deliveries and returns to ensure you are well-informed about our procedures.
Deliveries
Delivery Area:
We deliver throughout the Northern Territory, ensuring you receive your consumables promptly and efficiently.
Delivery Times:
- Local Delivery: Orders received before 1PM Weekdays will be delivered before close of business the same business day, depending on your location.
- Standard Delivery: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days. Delivery usually takes 3-5 business days, depending on your location.
- Express Delivery: Need your items sooner? Choose our express delivery option at checkout to receive your order within 1-2 business days.
Delivery Charges:
- Local Delivery: Free within 50km of our warehouse. We also offer free delivery to local shipping agents for our remote customers, this includes barge services.
- Standard Delivery: Email sales@ntconsumables.com.au with your order and location, we will then return pricing for delivery to your location along with the invoice of sale.
- Express Delivery: Email sales@ntconsumables.com.au with your order and location, we will then return pricing for delivery to your location along with the invoice of sale.
Order Tracking:
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor your delivery status in real-time.

Returns
Return Policy:
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, you may return it within 7 days of the purchase date for a refund or exchange, subject to the following conditions:
- The item must be in its original packaging and unused.
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.
- Returns must be initiated within 7 days of the purchase date.
Defects, Warranties, and Returns (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 - CCA):
- Inspection on Delivery: The Customer must inspect the Goods on delivery and must, within seven (7) days of delivery, notify Northern Territory Consumables in writing of any evident defect/damage, shortage in quantity, or failure to comply with the description or quote. Any other alleged defects must be reported as soon as reasonably possible after they become evident. The Customer must allow Northern Territory Consumables to inspect the Goods upon such notification.
- Statutory Guarantees: Under applicable State, Territory, and Commonwealth Law (including the CCA), certain statutory implied guarantees and warranties (Non-Excluded Guarantees) may be implied into these terms and conditions. Northern Territory Consumables acknowledges that nothing in these terms and conditions purports to modify or exclude the Non-Excluded Guarantees.
- Liability Limitations: Except as expressly set out in these terms and conditions or in respect of the Non-Excluded Guarantees, Northern Territory Consumables makes no warranties or other representations regarding the quality or suitability of the Goods. If the Customer is a consumer within the meaning of the CCA, Northern Territory Consumables’ liability is limited to the extent permitted by section 64A of Schedule 2 of the CCA.
- Replacement or Refund: If Northern Territory Consumables is required to replace the Goods under this clause or the CCA but is unable to do so, we may refund any money the Customer has paid for the Goods.
How to Return an Item:
- Contact Us: Initiate your return by contacting our customer service team at sales@ntconsumables.com or call us at (08) 8947 2305.
- Prepare Your Return: Ensure the item is securely packaged in its original packaging.
- Ship the Item: We will provide you with a return shipping label. Attach the label to your package and drop it off at your nearest post office or courier.
Return Shipping Costs:
- If the return is due to a defect or error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs.
- For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Refund Processing:
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Exchanges:
If you would like to exchange an item*, please contact our customer service team to arrange the exchange. We will process the exchange once we receive the original item. *exchanges not offered on any paint products unless they have been kept in a temperature controlled paint room
Additional Terms and Conditions:
- Returns will only be accepted if the Customer has complied with the inspection and notification provisions stated above.
- Northern Territory Consumables must agree that the Goods are defective.
- Goods must be returned within a reasonable time at the Customer’s cost (if that cost is not significant) and in as close a condition to that in which they were delivered as possible.
- Northern Territory Consumables may accept non-defective Goods for return at its absolute discretion, which may incur handling fees of up to 15% of the value of the returned Goods plus any freight costs.
Limitations and Exclusions:
- Northern Territory Consumables shall not be liable for any defect or damage caused or partly caused by the Customer failing to properly maintain or store any Goods, using the Goods for any unintended purpose, continuing use after a defect became apparent, failing to follow instructions or guidelines, or any fair wear and tear, accident, or act of God.
- For second-hand Goods, unless the Customer is a consumer under the CCA, the Customer accepts them with all faults and no warranty is given regarding quality or suitability for any purpose.
